Even into my years of driving, we have done the same. Only now that it is just my wife and I we do try to find a place to stop over night to and from. Personally I would rather get there and have more time for the Cape. But I am learning to take things a little easier now that the kids are not along for the ride. The only night with more anticipation was Christmas Eve, we couldn’t sleep, we didn’t want to sleep, we just wanted to go. We wanted to get to the beach.
This year is a little different, with us changing to a September visit, I almost feel a little anxiety. My mind is trying to tell me something but my body is not listening. I know in my head I should be packing the car, making last minute arrangements and checking to be sure I haven’t forgotten anything. More>>

eBay CEO Whitman steps down; execs shuffled amid weak outlook Posted in:
Web Technology eBay E-commerce eBay said Wednesday that CEO Meg Whitman will step down as president and CEO as of March 31. She will be replaced by John Donahoe, president of eBay's marketplace unit.
The move was expected as reports leaked out that Whitman was leaving. Donahoe joined eBay in 2005 from Bain & Co. For the last three years, Donahoe has been president of eBay Marketplaces, which represents most of eBay's revenue but is facing slowing growth.

The museum purchased the former YWCA in July 2007 for $2.35 million. The museum razed the YWCA building and uses the lot for parking.
Daniel E. O'Leary, the museum's director, said his staff and museum trustees are discussing potential uses of the Clapp House and vacant lot but likely won't settle on a plan for many months, or possibly years.
Together, the Clapp House and vacant lot give the museum opportunity for expansion that it has never had, O'Leary said.
"We want to keep open the opportunity to consider the next wing that the museum someday might develop," he said.
Hans Underdahl, president of the museum trustees, said the museum will proceed slowly and carefully to develop a strategy for the Clapp House and adjacent lot.
"What we are doing now is digesting these acquisitions and being as deliberate as we can possibly be, taking as much time as possible and seeking the wisdom of as many stakeholders as possible," he said. More>>
